1.Who we are
Global Astro Science ("we", "us") runs the website globalastroscience.com, including the GEMSSROTE store and our online puja services. This policy explains how we handle personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

3.How we use your information
- To provide the service you asked for — your consultation, puja, report, Kundli or order.
- To send you booking confirmations, status updates and replies to your questions.
- To prepare astrological calculations (Kundli, matching, Panchang) from the birth details you enter.
- To prevent fraud and misuse — for example, limiting repeated sign-in attempts.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law (for example, tax and accounting records).
- To improve our services using aggregated, non-identifying information.
We do not use your birth details or consultation topics for advertising, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
4.Who can see your information
- Your astrologer sees your name, consultation topic and birth details. Your phone number and email are shown to them only once they accept your consultation, so that they can reach you.
- Our pandits see the sankalp details needed to perform your puja.
- Our support and operations team sees what is needed to manage bookings and orders.
- Courier partners receive your name, phone number and address to deliver GEMSSROTE orders.
We use trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, only for the purposes below:

6.How we protect your data
- All traffic to our website is encrypted (HTTPS).
- Passwords are stored only as a strong one-way hash — nobody, including our team, can read them.
- Access to customer data inside our team is limited by role and every administrative change is logged.
- Repeated failed sign-in attempts are automatically limited.
No system is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach that affects you, we will inform you and the authorities as required by law.
7.How long we keep data
- Account details — for as long as your account is open.
- Booking, order and payment records — for as long as required by tax and accounting laws (generally up to 8 years).
- Technical logs — for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting.
8.Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:
- Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct or update your data — your name and phone number can be edited any time in My Account → Profile.
- Ask us to delete your account and data, except records we must keep by law.
- Withdraw consent for optional uses of your data.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity.
To make a request, email info@globalastroscience.com from the email address on your account. We respond within 30 days.
9.Children
Our services are meant for people aged 18 and above. A parent or guardian may book a consultation, puja or Kundli for a child and provide the child's details on their behalf.
10.Grievance officer
For any concern about your personal data, contact our Grievance Officer at info@globalastroscience.com. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
11.Changes to this policy
If we make important changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
